The Salvation Army in Kelowna

The Salvation Army has been active in the community of Kelowna since 1919.  It operated out of a number of facilities until making its church home at 1480 Sutherland Avenue in 1970.  The church facilities was renovated and rededicated on November 4, 2000.  The outreach of The Salvation Army flows out of the congregation that gathers weekly at this worship centre, and is complemented by 3 Thrift Store locations, our Community Donation Centre and our Community Life Centre (CLC) in Rutland.

The Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.
