Majors Mark and Isobel were appointed by The Salvation Army in July 2021 to give leadership to the ministries of The Kelowna Salvation Army.

Majors Mark and Isobel Wagner
Mark is a fourth generation officer of The Salvation Army. Mark and Isobel were commissioned and ordained in 1989. He holds the following academic qualifications: BTh, BA, MA, MDiv, STM, DMin. Isobel has earned the BRE, BA, MTS and MA degrees.
Mark has been married to Isobel since 1982 and shares life and ministry with her. They have five adult children and eight grandchildren. With Isobel, Mark spent 28 years in joint pastoral ministry, serving Salvation Army congregations across Canada. Mark and Isobel planted two of those churches (in Richmond Hill and Victoria) while he was working on his DMin with a focus in church planting. They had additional responsibility as Area Commanders in British Columbia for three years.
Mark spent a term as the Dean of the School for Continuing Studies at Booth University College and another at The Salvation Army headquarters in Toronto resourcing churches across Canada and Bermuda. He was interim pastor at North Toronto Community Church before taking on his current role as lead pastor at Kelowna Community Church. Isobel was a training officer at the College for Officer Training in Winnipeg and then the Learning Development Coordinator at our national headquarters in Toronto.

Darryn Titterington – Community Ministries Coordinator
Darryn joined the team in 2022 after spending 4 years in shelter and outreach work within Kelowna. He brings a strong understanding of the challenges that individuals face, a solid connection with community organizations and partners, and a desire to see our guests come to spiritual, emotional, physical, and economic wholeness.

Angela Stadnyk – Volunteer Coordinator
Angela joined the team as our Volunteer Coordinator in May 2018, having served since 2012 in multiple departments, and most recently as the Manager of our Rutland Thrift Store.
Angela comes from a large family that is full of love and adventure. She bring a passion for life, for people, and for the mission of The Salvation Army. She believes in living every moment to the fullest and always has a smile on her face – especially when she gets to interact with others!
